CALAMITY

Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy,
To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.
The LORD is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.
                                                                                                   Psalm 33:18, 19; Psalm 103:8.

Loving Saviour Jesus,

A single word from You can protect us from every perilous calamities since by Your word alone, the heavens, the earth and all living creatures were made. As the Bible says, "It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man and in princes", I trust only in You Lord. Your word says, "those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing." I once again acknowledge that You who made a way for Your people through the Red Sea, You who stopped the rains for three years, You who rebuked the storms and walked on the sea, You are present today with the same authority and power to save us from this calamity.

Lord, if there be any unconfessed sin in my life, I confess them all to You and Lord, please forgive them for me. Help me to stand firm in You and to live a life pleasing to You hereafter. Wash me with Your blood that the sin may not be an obstacle for You to save me in this critical hour. Keep me as the apple of Your eye and build a hedge around me. You have promised, "Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me."

Father, I know that Your righteous right hand will protect us and keep us all safe from every disaster as You are our refuge and ever-present help in times of trouble. I praise You and thank You for Your loving-kindness.

COURT CASE

For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; Nor has He hidden His face from Him; But when He cried to Him, He heard.
Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear, To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, That the man of the earth may oppress no more.

Loving Lord!

Have mercy on me as I am in deep trouble. You know my state! I am anxious and scared about this court case!
Lord the Scripture says that You are a just judge and that You are my defence. Help me Lord! Do not let man prevail over me! Plead my cause and deliver me from this crisis! Be my rock of refuge and a fortress of defence to save me! Go before me Lord and fight the battle for me.
Help me forgive those who have risen against me. Let me never be put to shame! I have totally committed this case into Your mighty hands trusting fully in Your goodness and mercy. I know Your ears are always open to the cries of the oppressed and the afflicted. So, Lord I expect a favourable verdict for Your glory. I praise You for the assurance You have given me that You will maintain the cause of the poor. I wait silently for You because my expectation is only from You. In the sweet name of Jesus, I pray.

IN PRISON FOR NO REASON

For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth; To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;
                             Psalm 102:19-20.

Dear Father!

I am so broken, mentally and physically. There is none to comfort me Lord! I have become a mockery to others and I cringe before the society Lord! I know You are aware of all my untold miseries.
Lord! Your word says that You look at the hearts of men. You know my circumstances Lord and You know that I am innocent. I do not know why I have been victimised unjustly. Yet I believe in Your goodness and thank You for this situation Lord! You were with Joseph when he underwent so much of trials and tribulation and exalted him at the right time. Master! The Scripture says that You showed him mercy and gave him favour in the sight of the prison keeper. You prospered whatever he did. Be with me Lord and deliver me also from this pit. Let me feel Your sweet presence even now! Sustain me with Your grace which alone can carry me through this bitter path. I accept Your deliverance right now Lord for You are a just judge and You never put Your children to shame. I expect double honour from Your hands for the afflictions I have undergone and I rejoice in You. I know my tears and my pleas will never go vain. I thank You and praise You Lord. In Jesus' name I pray.

TRAPPED IN SIN

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.

Our Father in Heaven,

I have been caught up in this snare of the devil. Inadvertently, I have taken a wrong step somewhere and I am now in a situation that I cannot come out by myself. Almighty Father, I look up to You because Your Word says that You will spare the poor and needy, And will save the souls of the needy.
I believe as it is written, "The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works." Have mercy upon me O Lord. Save me by Your righteous right hand. I totally trust in You. So help me Lord, to take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. I promise to be Your child and walk by the path that You show me, even as You have said, "Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it." I commit all my ways before You Lord.
Thank You Father because I believe, You have already made way for my escape from this sin. I shall glorify Your name because You are a shelter for me and a strong tower from the enemy. In Jesus' name I pray.

MISSING

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

Our loving Father!

Where do I run except to You in this moment of desperation, Lord? Father! You have planned everything concerning our lives even before the foundations of this earth. Lord I really do not know where my dear has gone but I totally rely upon You to bring back home safely. Your Word says that You are a very present help in trouble, I trust in Your Word and commit my dear one into Your safe hands.
What ever the situation may be Lord safeguard my loved one by sending You angels. Holy Spirit, bring about a change in the heart of my loved one and bring back home soon. I know that You are a prayer answering God and Your ears are always open to the cries of Your children.
Cast away all my anxieties and give Your everlasting peace in my heart. I know You have heard this prayer and I praise You for the same. In Jesus' name I pray.

SUDDEN DEATH

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.

My precious Lord!

I come to You with a broken heart. I am unable to accept this sudden loss of my precious one Lord! I feel utterly lost and terribly lonely! There is none to comfort me beside You. I turn to You Lord and shed my tears at Your feet.

Lord You shed tears when Lazarus died and You know the anguish of a bereaved soul. You have promised to comfort me and be with me when I walk through the valley of tears and sorrow. Be with me O Lord, and engulf me with Your comforting presence. Even now as I cry to You and wash Your feet with my tears, console me just as a mother would and wipe away my tears. Let my anguished soul find rest in You, Master! O, Lord please embrace me and surround me with Your strength and comfort. I lean upon Your bosom Lord! You have said, "I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people." Lord, please be a Father to me and lead me. Let the peace which surpasseth all understanding descend upon me. Be with me Lord; strengthen my hands and set my foot on high with all humility I offer this prayer in Jesus name.

INVOLVED IN ACCIDENTS

Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.

Heavenly Father,

I am broken and in pain because of the injuries caused by this accident. However, I thank You for protecting my life O Lord!
Father, the Scripture says that there is nothing impossible for You. I believe in Your healing power. Deliver me from all pain and grant me a quick and complete recovery O Lord! I know that we are healed by Your stripes. Stretch forth Your healing hand and let Your power descend upon me even now. I do not want to be a burden to my family. Grant me complete healing Lord and make me whole so that I can resume my day-to-day life. I know You are listening to my prayer and I trust in Your mercy and compassion. Strengthen me O Lord and let every weakness pain and suffering leave my body right now Master! Thank You for answering my prayer. I expect a miracle from You O God & I Pray in Jesus' Name.
