SUICIDAL THOUGHTS

"My times are in a Your hand."
                                                        Psalm 31:15

O Lord!

You know my heart! I am so oppressed on all sides that I quite often want to end my life! Life has become hopeless and I see no way out.

Lord Your word says that my body is Your temple and as such I have no authority over my life and body. Yet Lord I am unable to resist this suicidal tendency. Strengthen my heart and remove all suicidal though and any attempts I have made to take my own life. I acknowledge that satan is a thief and comes to steal, kill and destroy. I now choose You Lord Jesus, as my Master who came to give me life and give it abundantly.

I renounce all my harmful thoughts and I crave Your forgiveness for nursing such thoughts. Thank You for Your forgiveness that allows me to forgive myself. I believe that my times are in Your precious hands and that there is always hope in Christ. Thank You Lord for taking over my soul, my body and my life. In Jesus Name I pray.

LOVE FAILURE

"Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert."
                                                                     Isaiah 43: 18-19

Most loving Lord!

You know my broken heart! I am shattered and I just do not know how to come out of this disappointment Tears flow down my cheeks and I sink in my sorrow O Lord!

The scripture says that all things work together only for good. Right now I do not understand Your ways but strengthen me to accept Your will. I turn to You for help for I know without You I can never come out of this depression. Comfort me Lord and sustain me with Your sweet presence. I commit my future in Your hands. Help me forget my past and let me start a new life with You as my guide. Make me glad and grant me a glorious future. Lift me up Lord from this depressed state and wipe away my tears with Your loving hands. I cast all my burdens and disappointments at Your feet Lord! Keep me in perfect peace till I receive the partner of Your choice from Your hands. In Jesus name I pray.

MISUNDERSTANDING IN RELATIONSHIP

"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
                                                                                                         John 14:27; Hebrews 13:5

Our gracious and loving Father,

You have promised in the Scriptures that You will never leave us nor forsake us, whatever may be the circumstances. You are the same yesterday, today and forever.

Father, fill our hearts and minds with Your divine peace which surpasses all understanding. Help us to live in peace with one another. Fill us with that peace which the world can never give. Take control of all our thoughts, words and deeds. Refine us and purify us as gold. Help us to be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger. May the words of our mouth and the meditation of our heart be acceptable in Your sight.

I curse the acts of the devil which has brought in this strain in our relationship. Let every demonic stronghold and bondages that steals away the peace between us be shattered, in Jesus' mighty name.

Lord, it is You alone who can change our present situation and grant us peace. So, reign upon our minds and restore to us the joy of Your salvation. I Thank You Father, for restoring peace in our hearts and minds. I give You all the glory.

WRONG RELATIONSHIPS

Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed, Or the golden bowl is broken, Or the pitcher shattered at the fountain, Or the wheel broken at the well.
"In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength."
The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy.
                                                                                     Ecclesiastes 12:6; Isaiah 30:15; Psalm 145:8.

Gracious Father,

The Scripture quotes that we will know the truth and the truth will set us free. Lord, enable me to acknowledge You in all my ways. Believing that You are the way, the truth and the life, I enter into Your presence with this supplication. Create in me a pure heart, O Lord, and sanctify me totally as I surrender my life to You. I admit that I have wronged against You through this relationship which is against Your will and I have come short of Your glory. But out of Your divine grace and mercies, save me and sanctify me, since I believe the Your grace is sufficient to meet all my needs at this hour of despair.

Help me to seek Your face always and give You the first preference as the Bible says, "seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Father, accept me graciously into Your fold once more and remember my sins no more. Help me to renounce this wrong relationship once and forever. Let not my sin have dominion over me. I subject all my thoughts under Your divine control. Help me listen to Your sweet still voice as I trust in Your grace and loving-kindness. Enable me to fix my gaze on You alone and keep me from the lust of eyes, lust of flesh and the pride of life. Keep me holy even as You are holy.

I believe that You have heard my cry and would keep me in Your perfect grace from now onwards. I ask this prayer in the holy name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

TRAPPED IN SIN

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.
                                                                                                                 Psalm 18:2; 145:18

Our Father in Heaven,

I have been caught up in this snare of the devil. Inadvertently, I have taken a wrong step somewhere and I am now in a situation that I cannot come out by myself. Almighty Father, I look up to You because Your Word says that You will spare the poor and needy, And will save the souls of the needy.

I believe as it is written, "The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works." Have mercy upon me O Lord. Save me by Your righteous right hand. I totally trust in You. So help me Lord, to take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. I promise to be Your child and walk by the path that You show me, even as You have said, "Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it." I commit all my ways before You Lord.

Thank You Father because I believe, You have already made way for my escape from this sin. I shall glorify Your name because You are a shelter for me and a strong tower from the enemy. In Jesus' name I pray.

GUILT

Now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.
                                                                           Romans 6:22.

Dear Father,

If there is one thing that can kill a man gradually, it is guilt. And Lord, I am spending sleepless nights struggling with this feeling of guilt.

Your Word says that Your blood can only has cleansed me off all my sins and unrighteousness and made me holy. But this guilt of the past is chasing me. So I understand that this guilt is from the devil and he is the one who tries to dig out what Your love has already covered. You have overcome the evil one and rendered him powerless.

Father, I once again acknowledge that You have washed away all my sins, declared me righteous and holy, and the devil no longer has any power over me. Dear Father, help me to control my thoughts and overcome my unbelief.

Father, I thank You for helping me to come out of this thought of guilt and assuring me that I am Your son, as You have washed me off all my sins. In Jesus' mighty name I pray.

BAD THOUGHTS

Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
                                                                                                          Psalm 51:10

Dear Father!

I am not worthy to stand by Your throne of Grace! Yet Lord trusting in Your abundant mercy I have come to You.

The Scripture says that You are able to aid those who are tempted. Lord! I am in an age where I can easily become a pry to satanic snares. I am just not able to resist the unwanted thoughts that haunt my mind quite often. Somehow filthy thoughts creep into my mind and hamper my day-to-day life as well as my walk with You. I crave Your forgiveness for all my sinful thoughts.

Lord! Grant me Your Holy Spirit who alone can burn the roots of sin in my heart. Help me to meditate Your words more and more so that I can guard my heart and mind and walk safely in Your way. I am just of the flesh O Lord! Whom do I have beside You to help me overcome this sinful nature in me! You never forsake those who come to You! Show mercy on me so that I can flee the lusts of the flesh. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and make my body the temple of the Holy Spirit. Take full control of my thoughts and let Your power rule over me.

I thank You for helping me and strengthening me to lead a victorious life. In Jesus' name - I pray.

TEMPTATIONS

For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
                                                                                                                         Hebrews 2:18

Most gracious Lord!

I come to Your throne of Grace! Have mercy on me O Lord!

As the Scripture says when You were sojourning on this earth You went through the path of temptations. Hence You know my feelings, my weaknesses. You never forsake those who come to You, Master! I confess that I am weak to resist the temptations that come across my ways. I bow before You in all humility and with a contrite heart.

Grant me Your strength, mercy and grace to overcome the temptation of this world. I know You sympathize with my weakness and so strengthen me O Lord! Take full control of my wandering thoughts. Let me look up to You alone and derive strength from You. Protect me and keep me away from satanic snares. I lean upon You because You alone can keep me from stumbling and preserve me clean. Come and reside in my whole being Lord for my body is Your temple. Cleanse me from all evil thoughts and let Your blood cover my entire body! Thank You for strengthening me O Lord! Let Your Still Small voice direct me in the path of righteousness! All glory be to You alone. In the most holy name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ I pray.

BAD HABITS

Or do You not know that Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in You, whom You have from God, and You are not Your own? For You were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in Your body and in Your spirit, which are God's.
                                                                                                      I Corinthians 6:19, 20.

Most loving Father!

You know all my weakness and shortcomings. I feel so unworthy to stand before You. I choose to believe Your word which says that You are the lover of all sinners. I draw near to Your throne of grace begging for Your mercy and help.

O Lord! The Scripture says that we ought to present our bodies holy and acceptable to You! Master! I am of the flesh and on my own strength I just cannot over come this sinful habit. But I long to lead a clean and pleasing life before You, Lord. I am so helpless and find it very difficult to resist the temptations that come across my way! I look up to You for help, Master! Please cleanse me and fill me with Your Holy Spirit who alone can strengthen me to over come this habit. Let Your spirit guide me and preserve me from stumbling back. Please Lord take full control of my thoughts and grant me Your special grace! O God! Let my eyes be always upon You for without You I can do nothing. You have all the authority in heaven and on earth. I ask You to protect my mind and body and set me absolutely free from this unwanted deed. I choose to submit myself only to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Forgive me for all that I have done against You and cover me with Your precious blood. Thank You forgiving me and forgetting my bad past Lord! I am now Your child Master and I acknowledge satan has no power over me. Be with me and lead me in the everlasting way. In the name of Jesus, I pray.

ADDICTION

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.
                            Psalm 86:5

Our Loving Heavenly Father,

I thank You and praise You for the gift of life that You have so graciously given to me. But Father, unwittingly, I have stumbled into diverse fatal bad habits. I am not able to restrain myself. However hard I try, again and again, I get myself entangled in these bad habits.

Lord, I beseech You to forgive and forget with Your whole heart all the sins, which I have committed. I know that You are a merciful Lord and You will do so. The Scripture says that You give power to the faint and to them that have no might You increase strength. According to this promise, gird me with Your strength so that I no more get myself entangled in my old evil habits. Let Your strength be made perfect in my weakness.

Give me the grace to live in You always, never going astray and to lead a holy life. Thank You Lord, for hearing this prayer of mine, a great sinner.

SELECTION OF LIFE PARTNER

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
                                                                                                    Proverbs 3: 5, 6

My precious Father!

Even when You created this world You found that it is not good for man to be alone! You, Yourself instituted marriage in the Garden of Eden. You know that I need a Partner for my life, Lord!

Father when I think of my future I am gripped by anxiety! You know the longings of my heart and You know what is best for me. Lord we see in the Scripture how You blessed Your people with the right life partner and made them happy. Send me the right life partner through Your Angel. I need a loving and God fearing partner. Master! Bless me Lord so that I can build up a family for Your glory!

Every good gift comes from You Lord and You will never deny Your children joy and happiness. Remove the obstacles on my way Master and perfect everything for me. You are my father and so I commit my future into Your loving hands. Take charge of my settlement O God I give all the glory to You! I pray in the matchless name of Lord Jesus.

AIMLESS LIFE

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
The LORD will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
                                                Jeremiah 29:11; Isaiah 58:11.

Loving Father,

The Scripture clearly reveals that You know the plans that You have for me - they are plans for me to prosper and not to harm me; plans to give me hope and a good future. Lord, I believe that my times are in Your hands. Perfect all that concerns me. Direct my footsteps in the way that I should go. I believe for sure that in perfect faithfulness, You have done marvelous things, things planned long ago. Enable me Father, to hear Your sweet still voice and thus, guide me in the way I should go.

Father, all my longings lie open before You and my sighing is not hidden from You. Whether I turn to the right or to the left, let my ears hear Your vice behind me saying, "this is the way, walk in it." Whatever I do, let Your mighty presence go before me and level every mountain of difficulty into plain ground.

I surrender my whole life to You, my Master. Accept my life as a fragrant, holy and pleasing sacrifice. Forgive me all the sins that I have committed and help me not to waver in my life any more. Believing in Your name and the promise that You have in store for me, Your dear child, I praise You and give You all glory and honour.

UNEMPLOYMENT

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.
                                                                                                                     Proverbs 13:12

Oh Merciful Father,

I come to Your presence fully acknowledging that nothing is impossible with You. Lord, I lose heart when I am continually disappointed in my search for a job and when a job, which I like, goes to somebody else. Endless waiting and all the recommendations unavailing shatter my hope. My mind, under such circumstances, tends to degenerate into doubting Your might and questioning Your love. In all such situations, strengthen me to put my trust in You and to be patient in You.

If my sins are a stumbling block to this blessing, I plead with You Father, to forgive them. Lord, I am also very much worried when I realize that I am not in a position to support my family. Turn every sorrow into joy. I know that You will definitely do so. Grant me a good job soon, according to Your will and in the place of Your own choice. Your will is my privilege. I praise You Lord, for hearing my prayer and for Your promise of a job for me soon.
